A team of doctors and trained nurses care for various types of patients, using the most advanced remote monitoring and telecommunication technology. Medic4All is unique in providing active remote medical care. The information center's staff is attending to patients on a daily basis. Every day, medical professionals diagnose the patient's monitoring data received automatically from the patient home's monitoring devices. The daily data is compared with the patient's monitoring history. The healthcare staff initiates contact with the patient using either voice or video communication in which the healthcare professional and the patient can talk and see each other, respectively. Very often, the center's healthcare professionals are assigned to patients on a regular basis, so that patients and caregivers are familiar with each other. While communicating with the patient, the center's professional can activate and program the patient's home monitoring devices and receive simultaneous, real-time vital signs readings. He or she can also control the patient's video camera and zoom in to obtain specific view of the patient's body. If needed, the center's professional can have the patient's own personal physician or medical specialist join the session from a remote location and participate in diagnosis and evaluation.
Emergency response
A distress alarm facility is an integrated part of the Medic4All's telemedicine services package. It enables patients in distress to alert and initiate contact with a call center's healthcare professional with a simple press on their wrist unit button.

<b>Professor Shimon Abboud</b><br>
Professor Shimon Abboud currently serves as faculty member of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Tel-Aviv University. He had been the Head of the Department between 1997-2001. He is involved in research and development in industrial companies and was the chief scientist of Card Guard during the years 1992-1999. His research interests include signal processing of biological signals: ECG, EEG, and Blood pressure signals, Fetal ECG monitoring, Lung function tests (Spirometry), Bio-Impedance Technology, and Telemedicine. He is the author of more than 100 scientific publications in biomedical engineering.

<b>Professor Sergio Cerutti</b> <br>
Professor Cerutti Head of Department of Biomedical Engineering Polytechnic University Milano, Italy, received the Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering at 1971. From 1982 to 1990 he has been Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Department of Biomedical Engineering currently (from 1994). From 1990 to 1994 he has been Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Department of Computer and System Sciences of the University of Rome "La Sapienza". His research activity is mainly dedicated to various aspects of biomedical signal processing and modeling related to the cardiovascular system. He is the author of more than 200 papers on these topics published in qualified international scientific literature. He is Chairman of the Biomedical Engineering Group of Italian AEI (Association of Electrical Engineering) and is a member of IEEE-AEI, IFMBE-AIIMB, ESEM, IEC-CEI.

<b>Dr. Ran Kornowski</b><br>
Ran Kornowski, M.D., FACC, Director of The Interventional Cardiology Department at Rabin Medical Center, Petah-Tikva, received his medical training at the Hebrew University School of Medicine in Jerusalem. Having specialized in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, Dr. Kornowski has served as instructor and assistant professor at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University. His professional experience includes a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Washington Hospital Center, Washington DC, a directorship of the Clinical Program on Myocardial Revascularization, Gene Therapy and Angiogenesis at Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Kornowski has received numerous awards for his professional contribution to the field of cardiology. He is member of various medical organizations and societies, and he has published widely on the subject of cardiology.
